Rawdon was the first club in the Leeds and Bradford area to install a padel court in Spring 2021. The introduction of padel to the club was so successful, a second court followed in May 2022.

Both courts are floodlit, including full automation with the LTA's Clubspark system for booking. Over the period we have had our courts, our membership at the club has quadrupled, and the income generated by both membership and court fees has allowed further development of our club. The padel project was so transformative that the club was awarded both Yorkshire Club of the Year, and then Regional Club of the Year in the LTA annual awards for 2023. The club was shortlisted for National Club of the Year too. 
 
We offer a full programme of Matchplay groups, Club nights, social events, coaching for both adults and juniors, mini leagues and Cardio sessions. There is a lot for our members to get involved with and keep the courts busy!
